At My-Link Logistics, Less-Than-Truckload delivery is one of our most popular services.
In fact, LTL is a big business with us because small packages and freight in a semi-trailer can often be combined with other deliveries to definitely lower your costs. These offering economies of scale can translate to cost efficiencies of up to approximately 50% vs. our Full Truckload (FTL) service.
Typically, LTL freight can weigh between 150 lbs. and 15,000 to 20,000 lbs., in all shapes and sizes.
What LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Service Offers.
Our LTL Truckload Service includes:
- Relatively small loads or smaller quantities of freight
- Combined loads and shipping requirements of several companies on our trucks, using a hub-and-spoke system to get your goods to their various destinations
- Short-haul and long-haul services for on-time and on-budget pick-up and delivery
- Our centrally located transportation hub in Tracy, California
- Honestly, LTL takes a bit longer than direct deliveries and can involve more handling of your goods for the cost savings
